Job summary

Bloedorns is seeking an experienced Estimator / Designer to create bids, takeoffs, and price lists for clients in a timely manner. You will read and interpret drawings and coordinate with customers, salespeople, and contractors.

Responsibilities include producing design requests, layouts with 20/20 software, and participating in Bloedorns-sponsored training as required. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screen.
• Speak, write, and communicate effectively in the English language.
• Interpret written, oral, diagrams, and schedule-form instructions.
• Calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.).
• Utilize Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Utilize 20/20 design software.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver bids, takeoffs, and/or price lists to clients in a timely manner.
• Create and complete design requests for clients in a timely manner.
• Read and interpret original concept drawings and/or blueprints.
• Communicate with customers, salespeople, and contractors.
• Create layouts using 20/20 design software.
• Attend and participate in Bloedorn-sponsored training, when required.
• Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks.
