Job summary

Bloedorns is seeking a detail-oriented team member to support bids, designs, and order processing. The role involves reading drawings, creating layouts in 20/20 software, and coordinating product purchases with customers, sales staff, and contractors.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, processing orders and invoices, and maintaining stock levels. Regular training and fiscal duties are part of the position, with emphasis on accuracy and customer service.

Qualifications

• Complete and pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol, and background screen.
• Speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Interpret written, oral, diagrams, and schedule-form instructions.
• Calculate figures and amounts (i.e., discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, etc.).
• Possess interpersonal and customer-relations skills.
• Utilize Microsoft Office products (i.e., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
• Utilize Construction Maestro®, Envisoneer™, and 2020 software.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver bids, takeoffs, and price lists to clients promptly.
• Create and complete design requests for clients promptly.
• Read and interpret concept drawings and/or blueprints.
• Create layouts using 20/20 design software.
• Communicate with customers, salespeople, and contractors.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, order placements, quote request, delivery and installation schedules, customer follow-ups, and complaints.
• Coordinate purchase and delivery of special products by obtaining specifications, uses, and availability.
• Code and input customer orders, pricing information, and other data into the computer system.
• Create accurate invoices, work orders, and sales tickets.
• Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed.
• Operate and balance cash register daily.
• Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and stockroom.
• Attend Bloedorns-sponsored training, when required.
• Perform other assigned duties, responsibilities, or tasks.
