Job summary

Trek is seeking seasoned bike mechanics to support either our Project One Factory at our HQ in Waterloo or our Red Barn Refresh program at our Distribution Center in Johnson Creek. These are full-time, non-customer facing roles focused on wrenching bikes with precision and care.

You will assemble, tune, and adjust a wide range of bikes, including Project One custom builds and stock Trek models, while collaborating with a top-notch team to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on experience assembling a wide range of bikes—from kids' bikes to top-of-the-line mountain, road, and e-bikes.
• A self-starter mentality with a passion for teamwork and a positive attitude that lifts up those around you.
• A dedication to delivering awesome hospitality—listening, caring, and always being ready to help, no matter how busy the day gets.
• An eye for detail and a love for finding solutions—whether it’s troubleshooting or fine-tuning a bike until it's perfect.
• A hunger to keep learning, growing your skills, and staying up to date on the latest technologies and service techniques.
• Bike shop or bike assembly experience

Responsibilities

• Completing the final assembly, tuning, and adjustment of a full spectrum of bikes.
• Troubleshooting and updating e-bike systems and software.
• Stepping in wherever needed to help us meet our goals and deliver outstanding service.
