Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Medina, Ohio, is seeking a part-time LifeWise Teacher for grades 6–12 who demonstrates deep Bible knowledge, effective teaching, and a caring, Christ-centered approach. The role emphasizes active church involvement, strong communication with students and families, and adherence to LifeWise policies and curriculum.

Ideal candidates will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience and a mature Christian faith aligned with LifeWise Academy's Statement of Faith.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience (with students) in either a school or church setting
• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training: complete the LifeWise Teacher Certification Course within 30 days and attend annual LifeWise Summit
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and map out lesson plans
• Maintain student attendance records and class rosters, including health concerns and photo permission
• Maintain a clean, organized classroom and be prepared for substitutes
• Communicate as LifeWise ambassador, stay connected with school personnel, and keep volunteers informed
