Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. seeks a BI Platform Lead Infrastructure Engineer to own stability and performance of enterprise BI and analytics platforms. You will bridge platform engineering, data teams, and business users, resolving incidents and driving improvements. This role advances AI/LLM-enabled support and governance for sensitive data.

You will lead troubleshooting, automate repetitive tasks, and collaborate across IT and data teams to reduce toil and deliver reliable analytics services.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Experience in platform support or operations for enterprise BI, analytics, or data platforms.
• Working knowledge of Cognos and/or Tableau in admin or support roles.
• Strong troubleshooting across logs, failures, performance, and access issues.
• Foundational Linux skills including process/service management, logs, and scripting basics.
• Experience with ITSM processes and ticketing workflows (incident/problem/change).
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Experience using AI capabilities in infrastructure workflows with validation and data sensitivity awareness.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot complex platform issues across application, middleware, and infrastructure layers.
• Perform and oversee operational tasks including monitoring, restarts, log analysis, capacity assessments, and patching.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and data teams to resolve incidents and implement permanent fixes.
• Support BI users with access, datasets, reports, and governance guidance.
• Identify opportunities to automate support tasks using AI and LLM-enabled workflows.
• Lead pilots of LLM-powered support capabilities for incident summarization and self-service assistants.
