Job summary

Lilly IT invites applications for an Analytics Platform Administrator to run and secure our Power BI and Fabric environment. You will partner with Azure/AWS, network, security, and data teams to deliver scalable analytics across the organization.

Responsibilities include high-availability deployments, governance enforcement, automation via REST APIs and PowerShell, and ongoing optimization of dataflow and gateway performance. Onsite role in Indianapolis, with limited travel.

Qualifications

Deep Fabric/Power BI architecture knowledge for HA/DR and integration patterns.
Expertise in dataset refresh, gateway performance, and BI workload distribution.
Experience with On-Premises Data Gateways configuration and management.
Experience with PowerShell, REST APIs, and automation for bulk ops.

Responsibilities

Lead installations, upgrades, and deployments of Fabric/Power BI across environments.
Design high-availability configurations and plan patches with minimal disruption.
Implement governance for workspaces, datasets, and permissions.
Develop automation scripts and DevOps pipelines to reduce manual work.
Collaborate with infra, security, and network teams to ensure stability.
Mentor junior admins and establish SOPs for operations.
