Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a hands-on Data & Analytics BI leader to guide a team of BI developers and analysts in delivering dashboards and data assets. The role focuses on scalable data architectures, self-service reporting, and aligning BI initiatives with retirement solutions business goals.

You will collaborate with architects and business users to model concepts, design data structures, and drive BI tool evaluations to meet evolving needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in full Microsoft BI Stack (SSIS,SSRS,SSAS).
• Experience managing Enterprise Data Warehouse environments, including database design, modeling, admin and optimization.
• Experience leading and delivering full-cycle BI implementations with Microsoft SQL Server and IBM Cognos.
• Experience in developing ETL processes for Data Warehouses/Data Marts.
• Ability to train and mentor staff in Data Warehouse and BI systems.
• Track record working with business and technical audiences; offshore staff management.

Responsibilities

• Lead 2-5 BI Developers and Analysts in requirements gathering and design solutions, owning Agile dashboard delivery.
• Support BI strategy, reporting standards, analytics processes, and architecture practices.
• Contribute to BI architecture, data structures, and reporting frameworks improvements.
• Build relationships with business units and advocate BI deliverables across departments.
