Job summary

Amazon MGM Studios is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to join the Studios Analytics team in Los Angeles. You will design dashboards and automated reporting, turning content performance data into trusted, self-service insights for senior leadership.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Studios Analytics, you will work with Finance, Strategy, and content stakeholders to deliver scalable BI solutions, applying AI-assisted tooling and maintaining governance across a central analytics platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field.
• 3+ years analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
• Knowledge of SQL and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with reporting and Data Visualization tools such as Quick Sight / Tableau / Power BI or other BI packages.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders to translate between data and business needs.
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, and forecasting to guide business decisions.
• Knowledge of methods for statistical inference (e.g. regression, experimental design, significance testing).

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain dashboards, automated reporting, and analytical tooling surface title-level performance and portfolio views for Studios leadership.
• Automate high-volume, manual workflows with scalable, reusable solutions.
• Partner with Studios Strategy, Finance, and content stakeholders to refine requests into well-scoped deliverables.
• Write efficient SQL and BI logic against governed datasets for maintainable, performant solutions.
• Uphold central metric governance with single-source-of-truth definitions for content metrics.
• Apply AI-assisted tooling to accelerate delivery in partnership with AI enablement function.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product development, and financial reporting teams on integrated solutions.
• Enable self-service access to underlying data where appropriate.
