Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to build measurement, reporting, and analytics foundations powering data-driven decisions and AI-driven experiences within Amazon Business ABFI.

You will partner with product, engineering, and leadership to define success metrics, develop scalable data models, and deliver executive dashboards. The role emphasizes data storytelling, telemetry, and cross-functional collaboration across pricing, selection, and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years of SQL experience.
• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets.
• Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results.
• Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
• 7+ years of experience designing and developing scalable data models, semantic layers, and source-of-truth datasets that support self-service analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable reporting solutions, dashboards, and analytics frameworks.
• Partner with product, engineering, and business stakeholders to define KPIs and measurement methodologies.
• Build robust reporting pipelines, automated data validation, and monitoring for timely insights.
• Develop scalable data models and self-service analytics across multiple domains, including AI-enabled analytics.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses, root-cause investigations, and opportunity sizing.
