Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to drive the use of AI in analytics with high exposure to executive decision-making support. You will define and implement scalable processes, diving deep into product and program metrics globally across multiple business units.

You will apply business and technical acumen in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Your day will blend technical investigation with collaborative problem-solving, translating usage metrics into actionable

Qualifications

• Experience programming to extract, transform and clean very large data sets.
• Experience with AWS technologies and data tools.
• Strong background in information retrieval, data science, ML and data mining.
• Proficient with AWS Redshift, S3, Hadoop and related cloud storage/compute tech.
• Proficient in scripting (Python) and advanced SQL; data/BI experience.
• Experience building AI-based tools for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI tools that derive actionable insights from large datasets.
• Own automated reporting and analyses including performance decks.
• Automate and scale self-service analytics across teams and dashboards.
• Translate business problems into data/reporting requirements with PMs.
• Uphold data integrity, test design, analysis, and documentation best practices.
