Job summary

Amazon’s North America Supply Chain is hiring a Business Intelligence Engineer to own analytics powering production planning decisions. You will build and maintain dashboards, data pipelines, and curated datasets to enable headcount and capacity planning across NASC sites in the Bellevue area and beyond.

You will work at the intersection of data engineering, BI, and operational planning, delivering self-service tools and reliable data products that influence how labor hours and spend are

Qualifications

• 2+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience.
• Familiarity with BI analytics, reporting or visualization tools.
• Experience gathering business requirements and building reports.
• Knowledge of improving BI processes (speed, cost, reliability).
• Knowledge of data modeling and data pipeline design.

Responsibilities

• Own dashboards and automated reports surfacing production planning metrics.
• Collaborate with NASC Operations, Workforce Staffing, Network Design and Planning.
• Design and deploy data pipelines using Python, SQL, AWS Lambda, Athena and Redshift.
• Build curated datasets serving as the single source of truth for capacity planning.
• Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual data processing.
• Maintain documentation of data sources, logic, transformation rules, and schemas.
