Job summary

Boston Beer Company is hiring a BI Developer II in Boston, MA to drive business insights by delivering dashboards, reports, and semantic models on the Power BI platform. You will partner with stakeholders, coach users, and support self-service analytics within the Power BI COE.

You will contribute to data preparation and modeling to ensure data quality and performance, while supporting enterprise BI platforms and governance standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in Data & Analytics.
• 1+ years of Power BI experience including semantic modeling and visualization.
• 1+ year of experience with SQL and data transformation workflows.
• Experience in a customer-facing role.

Responsibilities

• Define analytics requirements and deliver dashboards, semantic models, and data analytics products aligned to business objectives.
• Support data modeling and transformation activities to ensure data quality, performance, and well-structured semantic models.
• Promote best practices and provide coaching, documentation, and training to support adoption of self-service analytics through the Power BI COE.
• Support enterprise BI platforms by troubleshooting data, reporting, and platform issues, and contributing to performance improvements.
• Ensure analytics solutions follow governance and security standards, including adherence to enterprise policies and access controls.
• Provide responsive user support, identify opportunities to improve processes and automate workflows, and serve as backup for IT Data & Analytics team members as needed.
