Job summary

Boston Beer Co. is seeking a BI Developer II to deliver Power BI dashboards and semantic models that drive strategic insights. You will partner with stakeholders, support data modeling, and help scale self-service analytics through the COE with coaching and documentation.

You'll ensure data quality, governance, and performance while supporting enterprise BI platforms. The role offers a competitive salary and discretionary bonus based on performance, with location in the Boston area.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience within the Data & Analytics space.
• 1+ years of Power BI experience, including semantic modeling and visualization
• 1+ year of experience with SQL and data transformation workflows
• Experience in a customer-facing role working with end users on requirements, coaching, and training.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to define analytics requirements and deliver dashboards, semantic models, and data analytics products aligned to business objectives
• Support data modeling and transformation activities to ensure data quality, performance, and well-structured semantic models
• Promote best practices and provide coaching, documentation, and training to support adoption of self-service analytics through the Power BI COE
• Support enterprise BI platforms by troubleshooting data, reporting, and platform issues, and contributing to performance improvements
• Ensure analytics solutions follow governance and security standards, including adherence to enterprise policies and access controls
• Provide responsive user support, identify opportunities to improve processes and automate workflows, and serve as backup for IT Data & Analytics team members as needed.
