Job summary

Pivotal Solutions in Boston, MA is seeking a BI Analyst to design, build, and optimize large-scale data models, reports and dashboards using the Microsoft BI Platform (Azure Synapse, Power BI). You will work closely with internal teams to translate requirements into data solutions and deliver performant BI products.

You will develop dynamic measures in DAX, ensure data security with Row-Level Security, and partner with BI architects on new tool proofs of concept.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology or related fields with 5+ years of experience in BI analysis and development.
• Experience with Power BI development and DAX for cloud data platforms (Synapse, AWS).
• Strong data warehousing and modeling concepts; knowledge of BI Development Lifecycle.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to work with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Power BI security features: Row-Level Security and publishing/export restrictions.
• Ability to work in a global environment and relate to all levels.
• Intermediate T-SQL skills.
