Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a data analytics professional to join the SQMA team on Space Coast, Florida. You will design data models and dashboards to support Safety, Quality, and Mission Assurance, while developing automated data pipelines in Python and SQL to serve engineering, manufacturing, and operations across facilities.

You will apply AI/ML techniques for predictive insights, build lightweight analytics tools, and collaborate with Directors, Engineers, and Specialists to deliver self-service

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, data analytics or related technical field.
• 2+ years SQL experience.
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and applying them to practical business problems.
• Experience with professional visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
• Experience building or contributing to applications/tools (dashboards, automation apps).
• Experience working with customers to gather requirements and present data solutions.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds data models supporting SQMA processes, systems, and tools.
• Creates dashboards and key metrics used by program leadership for decision-making and reviews.
• Develops automated data pipelines using Python and SQL for cross-team consumption.
• Applies AI/ML techniques to support predictive insights and process improvements.
• Builds lightweight applications and tools that extend self-service analytics for SQMA and Manufacturing Operations.
• Partners with Directors, Engineers, and Specialists to identify analytics needs and deliver reporting solutions.
• Leads data modeling efforts for cross-functional analyses across Blue Origin programs.
• Adheres to data quality standards and documentation practices for scalability.
