Blue Origin is seeking a Lunar Data Applications Engineer to build data models, craft intuitive visuals, and provide analyses that support lunar program planning and operations.

You will design dashboards and reports used by program leadership, and develop automated data pipelines with Python and SQL to empower cross‑functional teams across engineering, supply chain, and production. This role emphasizes data quality, documentation, and scalable analytics within a fast‑paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years SQL experience with Python/Spark as a plus
• GenAI tools to generate, review, and deploy code for data reporting
• Experience with professional visualization tools (Databricks/Tableau/PowerBI)
• Experience working with customers to gather requirements and present data solutions

Responsibilities

• Designs and builds data models for Lunar program planning, tracking, schedule and technical performance
• Creates dashboards and metrics for program leadership decisions
• Develops automated data pipelines using Python and SQL for cross‑functional teams
• Partners with budget owners and technical teams to deliver self‑service reporting
• Leads data modeling efforts for cross‑functional analyses across Lunar programs
• Establishes data quality standards and scalable documentation practices
