Job summary

MAXIMUS is seeking a Delivery Manager to oversee end-to-end BI/digital initiatives, ensuring delivery to scope, time, and quality. You will maintain delivery plans, trackers, and capacity views while escalating issues as needed.

Collaborating with BI leadership and PMO, you’ll support governance, risk, and continuous improvement to ensure reliable service and stakeholder confidence. The role requires coordinating with BI Administrators, performance teams, and technology groups, with UK-wide

Qualifications

• Essential: Proven experience supporting end-to-end delivery of data, BI, or digital initiatives to scope, time and quality.
• Essential: Experience in delivery, operations, or programme roles within a complex organisation.
• Essential: PMO or delivery management experience with agile delivery methodologies.
• Essential: Strong planning, prioritisation and capacity management with demand-resource trade-offs.
• Essential: Designing or operating delivery frameworks (Agile, hybrid, or structured).
• Essential: Operational stability experience including incident, risk, and service continuity management.
• Essential: Leading or coordinating operational teams like BI Administrators or support functions.
• Essential: Clear stakeholder communication and delivery updates.

Responsibilities

• Supports delivery activities by maintaining plans, trackers, and status updates.
• Ensures tasks progress in line with plans and highlights risks promptly.
• Works with BI managers and delivery leads to support timely execution of agreed work.
• Applies delivery frameworks and maintains governance documentation.
• Maintains visibility of delivery information for stakeholders.
• Leads BI Administrators and enables cross-team collaboration.
• Identifies delivery inefficiencies and supports process improvements.
• Supports cross-functional delivery and coordination across teams.
