Job summary

Neuberger Berman Group LLC is seeking a Developer in Chicago to design, build, and maintain BI dashboards and analytics within the Enterprise Data Management group. You will develop data pipelines, curate datasets, and automate reporting to improve reliability and efficiency.

You will work with investment, trading, risk, research, and operations teams to translate requirements into technical designs, validate data quality, and promote platform best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in CS/Math or related field with required work experience.
• 4 years experience in financial services data/portfolio analytics.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical designs.
• Experience with financial data sources (Aladdin/Bloomberg) and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data processing.
• Ability to design and publish time-series reports for front office risk/investments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain BI dashboards and analytics.
• Develop and enhance data pipelines and curated datasets for reporting.
• Automate reporting and workflows using scripting and APIs.
• Support CI/CD and deployment standards for BI/data pipelines.
• Collaborate with investment, trading, risk, research, and operations teams to define KPIs.
• Validate and monitor data quality for dashboards and datasets.
• Drive platform best practices and user adoption.
