Job summary

Bartholomew & Company is seeking a Business Solutions Analyst based in Worcester, MA to serve as an internal resource for data, reporting, analytics, and core business systems.

You will develop reports and BI dashboards (Power BI), analyze diverse data sets, and support management decisions across multiple business areas in a growing organization. Strong Excel, SQL, and Orion familiarity are preferred, with a rigorous focus on data integrity and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in business analysis, data analysis, business intelligence, financial services operations, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to work with business data.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience developing reports or dashboards using Power BI or a comparable business intelligence platform.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to organize complex information and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and learn unfamiliar systems and business processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound judgment and a high degree of accountability, including taking ownership of assigned work and escalating matters appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve recurring reports, dashboards, and Power BI reporting.
• Analyze operational, financial, advisor, client, and other business data to support management decisions.
• Define KPIs with stakeholders to improve accessibility and usefulness of information.
• Respond to ad-hoc analytical and reporting needs across the organization.
• Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Help build and maintain internal reporting infrastructure and ensure consistent metric definitions.
