Great American Insurance Group in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Manager to lead a data analytics team and drive the analytics roadmap across underwriting, service, and finance. You will partner with senior leaders to turn data into actionable insights and measurable business outcomes.

This role focuses on delivering analytics products, dashboards, and AI-enabled solutions while coaching a small team and promoting data literacy across the division.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Analytics, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• 7+ years in analytics; 4+ years in leading analytics or data science teams.
• Track record translating business strategy into analytics roadmaps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Knowledge of SQL and data governance.
• Willingness to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analytics team; set vision, roadmap, and priorities.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify metrics and insights.
• Oversee delivery on analytics roadmap; improve data sources and tools.
• Develop analytics products, dashboards, predictive models, and AI solutions.
• Collaborate with shared services and vendors for integration.
• Present results to leadership with clear narratives.
• Monitor model performance and data quality; address issues.
• Coach a small group of data experts and support growth.
• Promote data literacy and training across the division.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
