Job summary
Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Business Data and Analytics team in Cincinnati. You will transform structured and unstructured data into advanced analytics solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable pipelines and AI-enabled insights.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and R.
- Experience with cloud platforms and ETL/ELT tools.
- Experience with Generative AI tools.
- Knowledge of data modeling and governance.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data architectures (Snowflake).
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT processes to ingest and transform data for analytics use cases.
- Automate recurring operational reporting and improve efficiency.
- Support data engineering needs for predictive analytics and ML initiatives.
- Assist in migrating legacy systems to cloud-based data architectures and standardize processes.
