Job summary

WellDyne is seeking a passionate Lead of BI Analytics to guide HealthDyne Business decisions through scalable data insights. This role combines building reporting solutions with mentoring BI analysts and delivering executive-ready dashboards.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to define KPIs, ensure data fidelity, and establish repeatable analytics processes while communicating complex findings to non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of BI/data analytics experience with relational DBs and cloud data warehouses.
• Experience with Power BI/Tableau/QuickSight to build dashboards.
• Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT, and data quality.
• Proficient in Python for automation.
• 2+ years of people leadership or player-coach role.
• Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to define KPIs and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coach, and mentor BI team members and align analytics capabilities with business goals.
• Serve as player-coach balancing hands-on analytics with leadership and delivery oversight.
• Establish standards for reporting accuracy, data governance, and repeatable analytics processes.
• Partner with teams to manage workload, priorities, and timely delivery of reporting commitments.
• Design and support a platform providing ad hoc access to large datasets.
• Manipulate data from databases (Redshift, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server) using SQL and ETL.
• Write scripts (Python/UNIX) to mine log files and spreadsheets.
• Develop analytical tools, dashboards, metrics, and UIs for stakeholders.
• Conduct deep-dives and root-cause analyses to answer business questions.
• Define source of truth and ensure data fidelity across analytics.
• Communicate findings and methodologies to senior leadership.
• Collaborate with engineering to capture and store data appropriately.
• Handle ad hoc data retrieval and analysis.
• Monitor metrics, propose new ones, and identify actionable signals.
