Sporty is seeking a Data Analyst to mine petabytes of data and deliver actionable insights for product managers, traders, and executives. You’ll build dashboards and in-depth reports, guiding business decisions with rigorous analyses.

You’ll help maintain reporting infrastructure, ensure data quality, and collaborate with data engineering. Proficiency in SQL, Python, and BI tools is required, with 3+ years in a similar role and a remote-first setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a data-driven role.
• Experience defining and monitoring KPIs/OKRs.
• Excellent SQL skills.
• Familiarity with Python and BI tools.
• Strong ETL pipeline knowledge.
• Experience with A/B testing.
• Understanding of relational databases and data warehouses.

Responsibilities

• Analyse large datasets to identify trends and insights for decisions.
• Design, define and monitor core business KPIs.
• Partner with product, marketing and business teams to answer questions with data.
• Deliver clear, data-driven insights to stakeholders via presentations and reports.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and self-service analytics.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Validate data quality and collaborate with data engineering.
