Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst I to develop reporting, analysis, and visualizations that help operations leaders understand performance and identify opportunities within a large fulfillment network.

You will write SQL, build dashboards in Tableau/Power BI, and partner with Operations, Analytics, and Technology teams to ensure accurate, actionable insights across weekly and monthly reviews.

Qualifications

• Foundational SQL skills: filtering, aggregation, joins, CTEs, accuracy checks.
• Experience analyzing data and explaining results.
• Familiarity with Tableau/Power BI for clear operability reporting.
• Spreadsheets for analysis and validation.
• Organize work, follow processes, raise blockers when data is unclear.
• Strong written and verbal communication for business partners.

Responsibilities

• Analyze fulfillment and operational data to explain performance trends and identify gaps.
• Write and maintain SQL queries and datasets for reporting and ad hoc requests.
• Build dashboards and reports in Tableau or similar BI tools for monitoring performance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Analytics, and Tech teams to capture requirements and document logic.
• Validate data and reconcile results across sources; flag gaps or unclear definitions.
• Support weekly/monthly reviews and improvement initiatives with accurate reporting.
