Job summary

JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated BHS Technician I at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). This is a career-track opportunity with a commitment of one year or more, providing electro-mechanical maintenance support, including preventative and emergency maintenance.

The role involves inspecting hardware, belts, motors, carousels, and PODs, performing basic maintenance, and assisting senior technicians.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1+ year of mechanical work experience.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to read and interpret repair manuals and basic mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine electro-mechanical maintenance per manuals.
• Inspect curbside and ticket counter hardware and belts.
• Check BHS belts, motors, power turns, carousels, and PODs.
• Analyze situations to provide the best possible solution.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks and cleaning of conveyors.
• Diagnose equipment failures under supervision.
