Job summary

Flex is seeking qualified candidates for an electronics assembly inspection role. You will set up stations, perform in-process inspections, handle repairs, and input data into the shop floor system, ensuring products meet electrical and dimensional specifications.

The position requires navigating blueprints and process instructions, with opportunities to train others and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing environment. IPC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Typically requires at least 3 years of related experience.
• IPC certified qualification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets up stations with the correct process documents, screens, and workflow instructions.
• Performs in-process and online go/no-go inspections of electronics and subassemblies.
• Handles touch-up and repairs to meet specs.
• Interprets process instructions, visuals, and blueprints.
• Uses shop floor systems to record workload and results.
• Adjusts materials to meet electrical or dimensional specs.
• Uses inspection machines to detect defects.
