Job summary

The General Hospital Corporation is seeking an administrative professional to support healthcare providers in a fast-paced ambulatory environment at Mass General Brigham's campus. You will act as the primary interface between patients and the medical team, scheduling appointments, tests, and surgeries.

With at least 1 year in healthcare or customer service, you will handle referrals, pre-certifications, registrations, billing coordination, and co-pay collection, while maintaining accurate

Qualifications

  • 1+ years' experience in healthcare or customer service.
  • Understanding of managed care and other insurance-related coverage plans.
  • Digital literacy, including proficiency with Windows-based computer applications crucial.
  • Proven, accurate typing and data entry skills.
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of EPIC, MEDITECH & BICS software a plus.
  • Qualified individuals must be available to complete a three-day, Epic training program, and to work at least 30 hours, Monday-Friday, days.

Job Summary

Qualifications

  • Prior customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of EPIC, MEDITECH & BICS software a plus!
  • Strong patient service orientation and well-developed social skills.
  • Qualified individuals must be available to complete a three-day, Epic training program, and to work at least 30 hours, Monday-Friday, days.
  • They should be a quick study, with a "can-do," positive demeanor, and a proven track record to be reliable, flexible and punctual.
  • Driven candidates will also possess a professional demeanor, solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to work optimally as part of a team.
