Job summary

Harvest Hill Beverage Company in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Beverage Technologist III to join our R&D team, supporting new product development, formulation optimization, and technical documentation in a fast-paced lab and office environment.

You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Quality Assurance to translate ideas into scalable beverages, conduct sensory tests, and ensure labeling and stability studies are completed for shelves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of food/beverage product development experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a plant environment and as part of a team.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design and scale up new beverages from bench to manufacturing.
• Evaluate ingredients and qualify suppliers for new products.
• Produce product samples using lab bench and pilot equipment.
• Monitor and improve existing juice drinks and alcohol products.
• Collaborate with Purchasing and Operations to qualify alternate ingredient sources and reduce costs.
• Partner with Marketing to identify line extensions and create prototypes.
• Design and conduct sensory tests and shelf-life studies.
• Assemble ingredient statements and Nutrition Facts Panels.
• Coordinate stability studies for shelf-life assignment.
• Support kosher certification, HACCP and SQF/Organic programs.
