Job summary

Harvest Hill Beverage Company in Cincinnati, OH seeks a Beverage Technologist III to support R&D initiatives, including new product development, ingredient evaluation, and technical documentation. You will collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Operations, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include bench-to-plant scale-up of beverages, evaluating ingredients, qualifying vendors, conducting sensory tests, assembling nutrition panels,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, chemistry or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in food/beverage product development.
• Strong written and verbal communication for reports and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, design and scale up new beverages from bench to manufacturing plant.
• Evaluate new ingredients and qualify ingredient vendors.
• Manufacture product samples using lab bench and pilot equipment.
• Monitor and improve existing juice drinks and alcohol products for organoleptic properties.
• Collaborate with Operations to qualify alternate ingredient sources and reduce costs.
• Develop bench prototypes for line extensions and customer evaluation.
• Design and conduct sensory tests and shelf-life studies for products.
