Job summary

NH Liquor Commission in Concord, NH seeks an Accountant II to develop accounting methods, review the fiscal services in Accounts Receivable, and ensure internal controls align with NHLC rules.

You will supervise daily AR workflow, coordinate payment types, prepare revenue analyses, and assist monthly and annual reporting. Minimum qualifications: associate degree and 2 years of experience or equivalent combination; some supervisory exposure.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Associates degree and 2 years of experience OR equivalent combination of 4 years of education and experience after completion of high school.
• Education and experience must be in accounts receivable, accounting, finance roles or related field including some experience in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily workflow of AR payments and ensure timely processing.
• Prepare aged trial balance and revenue reports for Finance Administrators.
• Coordinate payment processing types (cash, check, credit card, ACH and gift card) and resolve discrepancies.
• Provide guidance and cross-functional support to AR staff and other accounting staff as needed.
