Overview
Function (Scope and Main Purpose of Job)
The Beverage Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the administration, operation, and direct management of the Beverage service.
Responsibilities

- FAST: Provide fast and efficient service with accuracy. Meet service time requirements and anticipate guest needs.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and assist in a supervisory capacity with the business plan and budget for the beverage service.
- Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food, and drinks necessary to operate beverage service.
- Develop staff, including training, interviewing for new hires, assisting with performance management, disciplinary counseling, and conducting performance evaluations.
- Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted employment levels.
- Delegate authority and assign duties as necessary.
- Review departmental status with the Manager.
- Develop, implement, and supervise programs to reduce and control loss time injuries.
- Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary.
- Demonstrate professionalism that reflects our brand and company values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)
- At least three (3) years’ experience in restaurant supervision and/or management, purchasing, and inventory control. Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage/Hospitality practices and procedures required.
- Must be Serv-Safe and RAMP certified.
- Knowledge of sanitation laws, health regulations, and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proven leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility and adaptability to change.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as required by the State Gaming Control Board.
Educational Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, push, pull, stoop, bend, and squat continuously. Able to lift and carry 50 pounds unassisted for extended periods.
Working Conditions
- Work in a high-energy casino environment with exposure to smoke, bright lights, and loud noises.
- May occasionally work in environments where smoking is permitted.
