Job summary

Hilton Richmond Downtown is seeking a Beverage Server to join its Food & Beverage team. You will take drink orders, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and ensure friendly, efficient service in the bar, lounge, or restaurant areas.

Responsibilities include opening tabs, processing payments, maintaining clean service areas, restocking supplies, and assisting bartenders as needed. Prior hospitality experience and knowledge of POS systems are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous restaurant, bar, or hospitality serving experience preferred.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, take drink orders, and deliver beverages promptly.
• Open tabs, process payments, and handle cash/credit transactions accurately.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and follow responsible service guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, tables, and stations.
• Restock glassware, garnishes, service trays, and beverage supplies as needed.
• Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes or simple beverage items when required.
• Handle guest concerns professionally and notify management of issues as needed.
• Follow all sanitation, safety, and company policies.
