Job summary

Churchill Downs Incorporated's Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is seeking a Beverage Server to provide excellent guest service by serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages quickly and accurately. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell menu items, maintain a clean station, operate the POS system, and ensure responsible alcohol service.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months' preferred experience, and a valid gaming license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner.
• Takes orders from guests and delivers and dispenses correct beverages.
• Demonstrates salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge.
• Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation.
• Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations.
• Utilizes all bar equipment and point-of-sale systems.
• Communicates to management in a timely fashion any guest compliments or complaints.
• Performs general upkeep and cleaning duties, such as mopping floors, wiping countertops, cleaning food prep areas, rolling silverware, etc.
