Job summary

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of bartending experience, with a focus on safety, sanitation, guest relations, and responsible alcohol service. Flexible hours and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Two or more years of bartending experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Consistently prepares drinks according to Hard Rock Sioux City recipes and specifications for guests and fulfills cocktail servers’ orders in a timely manner.
• Responsible for cleanliness of the bar area.
• Assists with inventory control, stocking, and proper rotation of product.
• Responsible for preparing and selling all drinks on the menu and handling all transactions in accordance with cash handling policy.
• Responsible for set up and breakdown of bar area as well as side work and projects as necessary.
• Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of alcohol.
• Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and guests.
• Responsible to perform “responsible alcohol service” with regards to guest limitations and pass any/all responsible alcohol service training.
• Interacts and speaks with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty to occur
• Other duties as assigned.
