Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City seeks a Beverage Server for a full-time role. You will serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with enthusiasm and accuracy, ensuring high guest satisfaction in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires strong customer service, cash handling, and knowledge of bar procedures. Previous experience and a gaming license where required are preferred. This role involves standing for long periods and nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 6 months prior work experience preferred.
• Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner.
• Takes orders from guests and delivers and dispenses correct beverages.
• Demonstrates salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge.
• Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation.
• Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations.
• Utilizes all bar equipment and point-of-sale systems.
• Communicates to management in a timely fashion any guest compliments or complaints.
• Performs general upkeep and cleaning duties, such as mopping floors, wiping countertops, cleaning food prep areas, rolling silverware, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
