Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is seeking a Busser to ensure tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly for prompt seating and service. The role supports servers and hosts in a high-energy gaming destination.

Responsibilities include maintaining side stations, stocking supplies, and assisting with food and beverage delivery while adhering to sanitation standards. High school diploma preferred; customer service or food & beverage experience preferred; gaming license where applicable.

JOB SUMMARY

The Busser is responsible for ensuring tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset quickly for the prompt seating and service of guests.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleans and resets tables in accordance with sanitation guidelines and company standards
• Maintains cleanliness of all side stations
• Stocks dishes, silverware, paper supplies, and other required items to remain par levels of all equipment during service
• Sweeps or mops as needed
• Communicates with host for seating needs and guest service issues

• Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of menu items and service as well as basic restaurant operations and culinary terminology
• Knowledge of dining room sanitation standards and procedures

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Customer service or food & beverage experience preferred
• Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
