Job summary

PENN Entertainment seeks hospitality team members at our casino to provide energetic service in a fast-paced environment. You will learn cocktail ranges, take orders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities include upselling, observing guest needs, and following standard cash handling procedures. Minimum age is 21, with a preference for certified experience in beverage service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One (1) year experience preferred in a fast-paced food service or similar environment.
• Must have cash handling experience.
• Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with cocktails and prices to ensure proper ordering and delivery.

• Responsible for familiarization of cocktails and prices in order to insure proper ordering and expedition of beverage orders.
• Suggest and upsell cocktails.
• Observe and anticipate guest's needs in order to fill any additional requests or needs.
• Serve tables in proper order of arrival with exceptions in common sense situations or as ordered by your supervisor.
• Inform immediate supervisor if a critical supply or service situation should arise.
• Responsible for side work assigned and any additional assigned daily tasks.
• Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do the same.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Conduct oneself in a manner that reflects a positive professional image.
• Greet guests with a smile and a pleasant disposition.
• Keep assigned workstation clean; ashtrays, caddies, etc.
• Follow all cash handli ng procedures as listed in the food & beverage m anual.
• Responsible for following the calling order when ordering cocktails.
