Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to support sales, merchandising and distribution goals across assigned accounts in Oregon. You will assist in executing business objectives and company initiatives while delivering excellent customer service.

This full-time role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and willingness to travel locally. Preferred candidates have a Bachelor's degree or beverage sales experience and can manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required; minimum age 21.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; beverage industry sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sell, rotate and merchandise the portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact respectfully with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, food journals and market trends.
• Submit reporting, preplans, trackers and surveys by due date.
• Manage inventory expenses per company policy.
• Understand MVP Standards and monitor competitive activity.
