Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to accomplish sales, merchandising and distribution goals by assisting the execution of business objectives and company initiatives.

The role requires selling, rotating and merchandising the distributor portfolio across assigned accounts, providing route relief, and maintaining industry knowledge. Travel to customer sites and regular reporting are expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year beverage industry sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact with internal and external customers and suppliers.
• Maintain industry knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic products and market trends.
• Submit reports, preplans, trackers and surveys by due date.
• Travel to customer accounts as needed.
