Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine and Spirits in the United States is seeking a Sales Consultant to visit customers, conduct consultative conversations, and drive revenue growth. You will build trusted relationships and present SGWS products to grow base business.

In this role you will analyze data, plan account visits, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet objectives. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required; the position is on-site in Cleveland, OH.

Qualifications

• Able to analyze and interpret data to identify growth opportunities.
• Proficient in using SGWS technology and mobile devices.
• Able to build and present persuasive product proposals.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel and maintain a valid driver's license.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, credible, lasting customer relationships based on trust
• Discover and identify customer business growth needs
• Develop a customer business growth plan for each account and build a pipeline of selling opportunities
• Analyze data and insights to increase sales and achieve objectives
• Pre-plan account visits with a CRM-documented agenda
• Prioritize sales activities to achieve objectives
• Visit accounts regularly and document visit plans in CRM
• Maintain deep knowledge of SGWS products
• Propose selling solutions and win the sale using consultative selling
• Achieve internal SGWS and supplier objectives
• Manage customer issue resolution and support business growth
• Adapt selling approach to customer buying styles
• Stay current with competitors and SGWS positioning
• Document and maintain account information in CRM
• Participate in sales meetings and training
• Perform other duties as assigned
