Job summary

Red Diamond Coffee & Tea in Moody, AL is seeking an R&D Scientist to drive beverage innovation from concept to commercialization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing flavors, while maintaining cost targets and label claims.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Food Science and 3–5 years of beverage/R&D experience, with coffee/tea familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science required.
• 3–5 years’ experience in R&D/Product Development, beverages preferred.
• Experience with beverage and coffee/tea a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through commercialization and improvements.
• Oversee multiple R&D projects and ensure timely completion.
• Identify and test new flavors, ingredients, and technologies.
• Support manufacturing in process improvements and troubleshooting.
• Maintain documentation and lab notebooks; prepare technical reports.
