Job summary

Responsibilities include stepping in as Facility Manager when needed, supporting food safety audits, and coordinating with procurement to meet raw material needs.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with all levels of employees and management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Previous management/supervisory experiences a must.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing for the Production Department to meet customer demand, including hourly and salary roles.
• Fulfill the duties of the Facility Manager in their absence.
• Serve as liaison between production personnel and staff on communication, decisions, and policies.
• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments.
• Ensure continuous improvement of methods and processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping, and regulations.
• Support food safety auditing in a timely manner.
• Communicate with procurement regarding raw material needs or deficiencies.
