Job summary

Pittston Co-Packers is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize beverage manufacturing, improve equipment performance, reduce downtime, and elevate product quality across the bottling operation. You will collaborate with Production, Maintenance, Quality and Sanitation to drive continuous improvement and ensure compliance with food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field related to manufacturing.
• 3–7 years in beverage/food/pharma manufacturing environment.
• Experience with high-speed bottling, filling, packaging or processing systems preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, FDA regulations and quality systems.
• Strong troubleshooting, data analysis and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production data to improve efficiency, throughput and quality.
• Lead Lean, TPM, Six Sigma and Kaizen initiatives.
• Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
• Develop SOPs and work instructions for operations.
• Coordinate with vendors and equipment manufacturers on upgrades.
• Create and update process diagrams, P&IDs and documentation.
