Job summary

The Boston Beer Company is seeking a Product Developer for the Samuel Adams Brewery in Jamaica Plain, MA. You will craft high-quality beverage products, develop new recipes, and ensure profitability, scalability, and defendability across the Beyond Beer segment.

You will collaborate with teams across the company to ensure timely launches, manage your project load, and apply beverage science to translate ideas into practical, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 2+ years of experience or equivalent education.
• Preferred: strong project management skills and lab techniques; proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Development - Develops new products according to scope, timeline, and quality standards.
• Project Management - Manages own project load of low to medium complexity projects; flags risks and mitigates.
• Consumer-centric Design - Uses consumer insights to guide flavor and product development.
• Cross-functional Collaboration - Works with Commercialization, Sensory, Brand, Legal, Quality Assurance, Production for launches.
• Scalable Manufacturing - Designs products for efficient production at required scale.
• Beverage Science - Translates ideas into technical solutions and applies scientific thinking.
• Problem Solving - Approaches challenges with a can-do attitude and identifies solutions.
