A Product Development Laboratory Technologist I is responsible for executing the functions of the Product Development Lab as laid out by Laboratory Operations Managers. This will primarily consist of:
Technologists are also responsible for maintaining a safe, clean and efficient laboratory environment and must understand how to safely operate all equipment within the lab spaces. This includes analytical, blending, processing and safety equipment. Technologists are expected to communicate effectively with their colleagues via e-mail, instant messaging and in-person as well as attend regularly scheduled meetings both onsite and virtually.

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $41,000 and $85,000. However, it's important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
