Job summary

Pittston Co-Packers is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support the reliability and operation of plant utility and process equipment at our beverage facility. You will focus on HTST processing systems and related equipment, working with the Maintenance team to resolve issues and implement improvements.

Candidates should have a basic HTST understanding, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years in engineering, maintenance, manufacturing, or process industries.
• Experience with industrial utilities is preferred but not required.
• Ability to read P&IDs and technical drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot plant utilities and process equipment.
• Support HTST processing systems knowledge; assist with start-up and validation.
• Identify reliability issues and implement corrective actions.
• Update SOPs, work instructions, and equipment docs.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Production, Quality, OEMs, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, FDA requirements.
