Job summary

Pittston Co-Packers is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support reliability and continuous improvement of plant utility and process equipment in a beverage manufacturing facility. The role emphasizes HTST systems, troubleshooting, and collaboration with Maintenance, Production, and Quality teams.

Qualifications include a engineering degree and 0–3 years of related experience, with a preference for beverage manufacturing exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 0–3 years of engineering, maintenance, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Basic HTST understanding or willingness to learn HTST processing.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of plant utilities and process equipment (boilers, water treatment, RO, CIP, HTST).
• Perform and support BEC activities for utility and process equipment including HTST systems.
• Assist root cause analysis for equipment failures and downtime, and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and equipment documentation.
• Support startup, commissioning, validation, and modification of equipment and processes.
