Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Operational Technician to run high-speed packaging lines and ensure quality beverage production. You will handle filling, labeling, and packaging while maintaining equipment and process parameters to meet production targets.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED, at least 1 year in manufacturing, and strong mechanical/technical aptitude with basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Experience operating high-speed packaging or manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, mechanical and technical aptitude.
• Basic math, reading comprehension and keyboard/tablet use.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed packaging equipment and fill containers; monitor blow-mold on PET sizes.
• Apply brand labels and supply lids and cartons to the line.
• Perform routine checks and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
• Assist in product and package changeovers as needed.
• Perform minor servicing and lockout/tagout procedures when necessary.
• Record production data and process parameters in the database.
• Carry out Cleaning, Inspection and Lubrication (CIL) maintenance.
• Collaborate with team to reach production targets and efficiency.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and complete required training.
• Conduct visual quality checks and report out-of-spec findings.
