Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to maintain and troubleshoot high-speed beverage production equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose complex electrical and automation issues, and support process improvements across packaging lines.

Qualified candidates have 2-5 years in electro-mechanical maintenance, technical certification, and strong knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, sensors, and CMMS.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years electro-mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Technical degree or certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Maintenance preferred
• Working knowledge of industrial electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and control circuits
• Proficient with reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
• Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and CMMS systems

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair processing equipment including fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, palletizers, and packaging machinery
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems (motors, VFDs, sensors, relays) and mechanical systems
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
• Read electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and manuals
• Perform advanced PLC troubleshooting including I/O diagnostics and program-level investigation
• Install, test, and commission new or modified equipment and integrate with control systems
• Support system integration, retrofits, and process improvements; train technicians
• Maintain maintenance records using CMMS
• Comply with safety, GMP, HACCP standards
