Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking an Operational Technician to efficiently run production equipment and ensure top-quality beverage production. The role focuses on operating high-speed packaging, monitoring blow-mold processes, and supporting changeovers while adhering to safety guidelines.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and at least one year of manufacturing experience, with mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year of work experience.
• Prior experience in machine operation in a high-speed production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Critical thinking skills to assess tasks by urgency.
• Mechanical and technical aptitude; willingness to learn and grow.
• Basic math, reading comprehension, and general computer literacy preferred.
• Basic computer use; comfortable operating a tablet or laptop.
• Prior pallet jack experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-speed packaging equipment and fill containers (cans or bottles).
• Monitor and maintain blow-mold technology for PET sizes; apply labels.
• Load lids, cartons, or cans into automated machines and perform changeovers.
• Perform minor servicing and lockout/tagout procedures when needed.
• Conduct visual quality inspections and log data in the quality database.
• Document and maintain production data, maintenance, and process parameters.
• Perform Cleaning, Inspection, and Lubrication (CIL) on equipment.
• Collaborate with team to meet production targets and maintain safety.
